Since 2004, this website has been the home of information about the Yale Class of 1957. At the conclusion of the class’s collective life, the site will serve as a partial archive of the class under the permanent possession of the Yale University Archives, to which in 2017 the class formally deeded its possession, the first Yale class to do so.

Intended as a vehicle for information about members and activities of the class, a place where classmates can offer evidence and news of their own thoughts and creations, and the location of the class's history, the site is designed for easy access and pleasurable viewing. Always a work in progress, its chief purpose is to be of service to members of the class.

New information (such as new class notes slated for forthcoming issues of the Yale Alumni Magazine, reports of recent class activities, and obituaries) is regularly added to the site. The class directory is updated each quarter, and the necrology is kept up to date. Only the class directory and classmates’ biographies are username and password protected.
